Happy August! It's hard to believe that we will be sending the kids back to school this month...already!

I have so many exciting things I want to share with you! Ok, now to face the truth...the summer is almost over. I have mixed feelings about it. I love the lazy days of summer and not having as much structure as the school year, but there is also something to be said for getting back into a groove and having a little time to yourself while the kids are in school (hopefully!)  Be sure to start easing them into the school year slowly by starting an earlier bedtime, getting school clothes and supplies together, talking about new responsibilities for the school year, etc...  Every year your kids can handle a little more responsibility than before.  Help them to be excited about the coming school year - it's the milestone that says they're getting bigger!
